A little bit about the Ingram Mortgage Team

The Ingram Mortgage Team is where you come for mortgage advice if you want to be treated like family. Simple as that!

We have always been focused on providing people with knowledge and unbiased advice, but we like to do it in a way that is easy to understand and encourages you to make your decisions with confidence and knowledge.

We wanted to build a mortgage business that cares more for our customers than anyone else and to create a fun and meaningful place to work, full of great people and culture. We think we have done just that.

Team Ingram VS Team Schreder Annual Christmas Charity Classic

For over 11 years the Ingram Mortgage Team has partnered with The Schreder Brothers at Royal LePage in a hockey game benefitting Sources Langley Food Bank. To date, we have raised over $80,000 for Sources Langley Food Bank and received thousands of pounds of non-perishable food items! (humble brag – the Ingram Mortgage Team currently leads the series 7-4)

BC Special Olympics

The Ingram Mortgage Team continues to help the BC Special Olympics each year as one of our teammates is a proud athlete!

Local Sports

The Ingram Mortgage Team is pleased to sponsor various local sports teams including the Shoot The Boot mixed slo-pitch team of the Cloverdale Slo-Pitch League; Ingram’s Oriole’s in the Chilliwack mixed Slo-Pitch League; and Rae Rae Racing.

How it all began, from Jeff’s perspective:

“When I was a kid, I didn’t know what my Dad did for work. I knew he was a “Mortgage Broker”, but I didn’t really understand what that meant. What I did know, however, is he helped people and made them really happy.

Fast forward to graduating from University and I knew I enjoyed people and wanted to help them, too. I guess Dad’s people skills and empathy kind of rubbed off on me!

Building the Ingram Mortgage Team together has been very special, and to be able to do it with my Dad has been an honour. We are grateful to be able to help so many people with such an important decision in their lives. And to be able to help them see their largest debt as an asset is a mindset we have always tried to instil in our mortgage family.

We are proud of building a fun and meaningful place to work. Everyone on the team is valued and encouraged to be themselves and hone their strengths. We are fortunate to be surrounded by teammates who are really good at what they do and are great people as well.

The IMT truly is a family, and with every customer we work with, we want them to feel like they are a part of this family, too. “Family takes care of family.”



Mark Ingram

Co-Founder / Mortgage Broker

I started my career with one of Canada’s largest banks. It didn’t take long for me to realize I was a round peg trying to fit into a square hole. My performance review generally ended with, “You’re a smart guy, but you need to spend less time explaining things to customers and cross sell more products.” I knew they weren’t going to change so I had to find a different path. I went to work with a local Trust Company and that’s where I began to focus on mortgages. It was there I learned every application told a story. When I learned mortgage brokers could deal with a myriad of lenders and help people in a wide variety of situations I knew I had found my career. Working as a mortgage broker has provided me with a good life and I still get excited when I help someone buy their first home or find a solution to a unique situation. Over the years many clients have become good friends and for that I am grateful. When I’m not working my kids and now my grandkids are my passion. I enjoyed being at the rink, the ballpark, soccer pitch or dance recitals and I’m looking forward to doing it all again.

Jeff Ingram

Co-Founder / Mortgage Broker

I truly love the education aspect of what I do! I enjoy answering all of the questions and helping people view their mortgage as an asset, as opposed to a debt. My favourite part of my job is connecting with people and sharing in the excitement, and oftentimes, feeling of relief, with them. When I’m not doing mortgages, I’m calling penalties as a Referee in the WHL. This has been my hobby since the 2009/10 season and I have been fortunate to work two Memorial Cups and many international assignments including the 2019 World Juniors, right here in Vancouver and Victoria, along the way. My wife and 2 kids are my purpose behind everything. Spending as much time with them is my true happy place.

Process Manager

Formerly known as the official “problem solver,” or Director of Underwriting on the IMT, I have since transitioned into a new role where I like to refer to myself as the “Smooth Operator,” although my official title is Process Manager where I support our Underwriting team and ensure our lender relationships are always strong. I joined the IMT in 2011 and Jeff and Mark truly have become an extension of my family over the years. When I’m not approving files, I am enjoying life away from the office with my husband and two kids. I may or may not also have a good wheat ale in hand on the weekends.

I’m the newest (and hairiest) member of the Ingram Mortgage Team. Over the last several years I’ve had the pleasure of learning from the best in the business, ultimately joining the IMT in May 2022. I’m the mellow fellow who will ensure that your mortgage journey is as fun as it is stress-free. Nothing makes me happier than being a part of your path to homeownership, finding the most cost-effective financing for the place you’ll call home – where families are made, meals are shared, and lives are lived. Speaking of happiness, when I’m not sitting at the computer turning your mortgage applications into mortgage approvals I’ll be exploring the mountains, forests and beaches with my little family, giggling our days away. My heart is always at risk of bursting with joy given my good fortune to be part of such a marvelous family, both at home and at work.

With a decade spent between the financial services and accounting industries, I aim to share my experience and knowledge by working alongside you to determine the best fit plan to help you achieve your goals. Working with the amazing Ingram Mortgage Team allows me to be part of a culture that supports treating every client as if they are family and creating a memorable experience and contributing to an ever lasting relationship.

Being born and raised in BC I still call the beautiful West Coast home and often can be found enjoying the wonders of our backyard, including hiking and paddle boarding in the summer or snowshoeing in the winter or spending time with friends and family and dog, Kleo.

I am looking forward to working with you and supporting you through every step of the way in your journey whether it is your first home, a vacation home, or anything in between.

I came to the Ingram Mortgage Team after over 12 years in the financial services industry. I am proud to be a part of a team that sees our clients as more than a number; they are truly a part of our family. I thrive on the fast-pace and diverse intricacies of the mortgage industry, and I pride myself on ensuring smooth transitions throughout the mortgage process for our clients. In my downtime I like to go on family adventures with my three small children, or you may see me seeking solitude in the middle of a lake on a paddle board.

Kayley

CLIENT SUCCESS MANAGER

Hi! I’m Kayley and I’ve been with the IMT since August of 2018. My official title is Mortgage Family Experience Coordinator, but what I actually do is handle all of the little things that make a big difference and make people smile. I love the teamwork that is prevalent amongst us and it truly does feel like a family here. When I’m not sending out awesome client appreciation gifts, I am a multi-sport Special Olympics athlete and a National Athletics medalist. When I’m not training for my events I just like to relax and enjoy some good music and art!
